BetMGM originally entered the regulated New Jersey market as PlayMGM. It was relaunched as BetMGM in 2017 under Roar Digital’s joint venture with GVC Holdings and MGM Resorts.
BetMGM operates under the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa license which also covers sites like BorgataCasino and partyCasino. The betting site now includes a full online casino, online poker room, and sportsbook.
More recently, BetMGM has launched mobile sportsbook apps in other states. You can place real money sports bets in West Virginia, Indiana, and Nevada.

Our BetMGM review reveals a good selection of daily and weekly tournaments. You can jump into the Daily $10k for $109 or play the $1,000-GTD Turbo for a $55 entry. No Limit Hold’em dominates the daily schedule but there are several PLO and PLO8 tournaments with buy-ins from $20-$109.

Our BetMGM review team unearthed a good range of deposit options. You can make account payments via VISA and MasterCard or apply for a BetMGM Play+ prepaid card. We prefer the Play+ option as you can avoid annoying declined card payments.
BetMGM also accepts deposits from trusted e-Wallets like Skrill and PayPal. NETELLER is no longer accepted in New Jersey. Let’s end our BetMGM review by saying this is one of the best all-round casinos, poker rooms, and sportsbooks in the US. The revamped desktop software is excellent, and we were able to switch easily between poker, casino, and sports.
